Join us for a work session focusing on
- problematic vowel and consonant sounds
- /i/ v. /ɪ/ (e.g., "sheep" v. "ship")
- /ə/ (e.g., "animal," "Georgia," and "today")
- /r/ and r-colored vowels (e.g., "red" and "girl"),
- word stress (vowel changes in unstressed syllables),
- rhythm and intonation (content vs. function words).
Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of how to identify and correct these areas of communication.
