Join us for a work session focusing on
- problematic vowel and consonant sounds
- /u/ v. /ʊ/ (e.g., "pool" v. "pull")
- /æ/ (e.g., "family," "apple," "bat")
- /θ/ (e.g., "thing," "bath," "theater")
- /ð/ (eg., "this," "mother," "bathe"),
- word stress (numbers, compound nouns, noun phrases),
- rhythm and intonation (thought groups and focus words).
Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of how to identify and correct these areas of communication.
